Accommodation designed by students for students!
Our creative approach
The KLEY product team is constantly identifying trends and how students' needs are evolving to ensure KLEY residences offer living spaces perfectly tailored to their lifestyles.
To help with this, the group launched a contest for students of Applied Arts at École Boulle, setting them the challenge of "reinventing future KLEY accommodation". The goal was to create innovative, functional and aesthetically pleasing living spaces that correspond to the lifestyles and changing needs of students.
The winning concept will be rolled out to all new KLEY residences from 2023!
"The Ribbon": An ingenious concept!
The Ribbon is a concept created by Etienne, Marlène, Sarah and Morgane, all students at École Boulle, who won the challenge.
Their idea was to create "a room within a room" with a ribbon of colour that visually separates spaces and plays on its mixed-use character.
The result is a colourful, cosy and social living space divided into three areas:
• The office, central dual-aspect space for working or entertaining
• The sleeping area, in the form of a large platform with a 120cm bed, a comfortable seat and multiple integrated storage units
• The entrance becomes a well-designed space in its own right, incorporating a mirror, storage space and wardrobe
